Curriculum-mapped assessment workflows for teachers.

1 / 3

AcademiaPlus is the product ATAS actively builds and operates today. It is national curriculum infrastructure for Rwandan secondary education, built around three things rarely found together in one platform:

  1. The complete Rwandan national curriculum — pre-loaded and shared by every school that joins.
  2. A growing repository of real, human-authored, curriculum-mapped exam questions.
  3. A grading and analytics engine that identifies not just whether an answer is right, but what that answer reveals about how well the curriculum itself is being learned — for one student, a class, a school, or the country as a whole.

Built for the complete assessment lifecycle

Every exam paper in Rwanda's actual style — including multi-part questions with diagrams and mixed answer types — can be represented and answered the way a student genuinely would on paper. Existing paper exams can be digitized directly into the platform, with a teacher always reviewing the result before it's used.

The platform also includes a shared communication space for classes and subjects, and a proctoring system that gives schools genuine confidence in online assessment integrity.

Practice Hub and Competition Hub

Built directly on this foundation are two student-facing capabilities:

  • Practice Hub — real curriculum-mapped practice, including national past papers, with AI-assisted grading and a personal view of progress against the curriculum.
  • Competition Hub — a national academic competition run in phases that mirror Rwanda's own administrative structure: district, province, and a national final.

Where it stands

The core high-school platform is nearing completion, with first school onboardings planned for the start of Rwanda's next academic term. Support for universities exists at an early stage, with the fuller feature set following once the harder high-school case is proven.

Schools and universities pay as institutions, with every teacher and student covered automatically. New schools and independent teachers joining during this early period receive a full academic term free.
